BILLCON
HISTORY
Jun.
1962
Tokyo Calculating Machine Works was established in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo
as a manufacturer specializing in bank note counting machines. Marketed
the world's first friction method bank note counting machine.
Dec. 1971
Merged with Tokyo Automatic Machinery Works and the name of the company
was changed to BILLCON. The office was moved to Hisamoto, Takatsu-ku,
Kawasaki City and Jin Sasako became President and Representative Director.
Nov. 1974
Billcon Corporation of America was established in Torrance, California,
USA.
Aug. 1976
Built new factory in Kawawacho, Midori-ku, Yokohama City.
Aug. 1981
Built new factory in Kuji, Kawasaki City. Jan. 1988 Established Billcon
Service Co., Ltd.
Aug. 1988
Masaharu Hirooka became President and Representative Director.
Feb. 1990
Commenced business affiliation with Auto Stamp Co., Ltd.
Apr. 1990
Sales department was moved to Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo and Tokyo office
was established.
0ct. 1992
Administrative and Accounting department was moved to Setagaya-ku, Tokyo
and Yoga Office was established. 0ct. 1993 Billcon Service was changed
to ABS Co., Ltd.
May.
1994
Sales, Administrative and Accounting Department were moved to the Bakurou-cho head office, located in Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
Nov. 1994
Osaka Office was established.
Nov. 1996
ABS was changed to Billcon Engineering Corporation.
Mar. 1999
Introduced the new electric golf bag cart "The Billcon Walkalong."
Jan. 2001
Newly redesigned 2001 Walkalong debuts at the PGA Show in Orlando, Florida
